Exploring palette knives with this colorful, richly textured piece from a time I wanted to get out of a creative rut. I wanted to do something fun and expressive that would symbolize my optimism for my first art fair showing and showcase a new technique I wanted to try. The bright colors, flowers, and loose strokes evoke a feeling of freedom and joy that are a through line in my work.
