Hey I’m Emma Faist!

I’m an acrylic artist based in Chicago, IL. I came back to painting after working in tech out of college. Because that work was so analytical and structured, art was a great outlet for me to express my creativity and funky side. For me, art is about expressing joy, peace, curiosity, and growth- and I hope that shines through in my work. 

My work is usually bold and colorful, and explores themes of nature, animals, and femininity. My style and technique shift depending on what I want to explore that day. I believe that art should be fun, fluid, and full of experimentation, as I feel I am at my most creative when I am in a mental space of healing and growth.
