This is the third piece in the series, expressing some of the doubts I had as my first art fair was only days away. The moody grey, textured background evokes some of my swirling thoughts, while the contrasting bright flowers keep a spark of optimism and hope that putting myself out there in this way would work out. The flowers are also more detailed than the others, as I wanted to try incorporating some brush work with the bolder lines the palette knife creates.
