This piece was the my first foray back into painting as an adult. I created it at a time in my life when I was working at a job I truly despised, and in a place I was very isolated in since Covid was at the forefront of everyone’s mind. I wanted to imagine life where I could be at peace, a feeling that was truly difficult to find when I was in that space. The soft blues, greens, and purples evoke a sense of calm that I was desperate to find at the time.
